I am having a recent issue with my new FSX install on Win 7 64 bit.... when I go to install a new scenery ( this time it happens to be KDTW from flightsim.com) I follow to readme instrustions.. create a folder called "KDTW" and unzip everything into that folder then place that KDTW folder into the FSX/Addon Scenery.... then go into the game and go to the scenery library adn click on Add. when i go to the addon scenery directory I see the folder KDTW, bit everytime I click "ok" it just takes me one "step" further into the folder. I dont know what to do, in my Vista 64 bit os with FSX i never had this issue. anyone know what I am doing wrong? and yes I have the UAC turned off as well as running as the admin on all my programs. Thanks in advance,

Mike

Mike, it is a bit weird how this works and you may want to google it but I will try to explain. When you click on add scenery and you select the folder from the add on library, you have to copy the folder name in the drop down box, then hit ok, then paste what you copied back in to the drop down box, because it will go blank, then just click anywhere up in the blank area just below where it says scenery and texture. It is extremely weird how you do this and I hope I explained it well enough.
