Hi all Delta Pilots,

i just planing my "Workplan" for the next week and in case that im an very big New York LaGuardia Fan, i wana ask if its also allowed to fly the LGA, when doing an flight whith should go to JFK (or EWR), i cant find any infos in the Operations manual (or did i overready it?)

i just dont like JFK (toooooooo big wink ) also its much more fun and challanging, when landing there whith one of my 767-200 or -400 smile

also a short question to the flightplan: did Delta retiered the 767 Flight to LGA, because i cant find it in the Delta VA Shedule!+

thanks for helping, Mathias

No you cannot fly to LGA, when it was scheduled for JFK or EWR, but you can use the B767 on routes flown by other aircrafts, if it can make the route safely.

Putting the 767 into LGA was definitely a challenge, especially with the typical New York wind conditions.

I have only done it once, and it definitely was worth it.

Going to try putting the 767 into MDW soon. Trick will be getting it back out.

Used to fly the daily ATL-LGA 767 run a few years ago. I remember it was a dusk flight and an awesome trip. The "Expressway" and "River" visuals were a blast and ATC used to love to watch pilots try to fly them!

Only LGA longhauls occur on Saturday due to perimeter rule. LGA-SLC for example. Just save the draft route in your log on Sat and just sub in a 767.

Flew on DL's Atlanta run many-a-times on the 746 to/from LGA. Made for a very interesting approach!

ist not very easy to land in LGA with an 767 in LGA, you nearly nead max. Autobrake, for saefty reasons, but did you ever try to takeoff an FULLY loaded 767-400 at LGA?
