I took my my A320 FO and A330 FO just to get them out of the way and what im confused about is im already able to file reports with them because of other ratings i have such as 777 or 747 and 737 why do i need to do a checkride if im already able to fly them? Or do i not have to take the checkride to switch over?

If you already have the ratings, then you don't have to fly a CR because you already have them. However if you want to switch to that program you will have to fly and pass the CR to get in the program.

Check the HSI settings. You should be able to call up the "Rose".
