I was the first beta tester added after release, and I must say it's a relief. It was certainly planned for earlier but many snags came up in the way. Overall it was a great experience, and I hope everyone thoroughly enjoys the new SP!

Guys, the initial upload was corrupted because somebody purchased the plane during the upload of the SP1. Please be patient while Corey re-uploads the file, his internet is running slow and it should be about 45 minutes.

And Michael, update your .NET framework.

Just FYI, it was forgot to be included in the manual. But if you go to the Index page of your CDU and LSK "Save PNL" that is how you save panel states. And SP1 comes with Cold N Dark so no need to do that yourself.

Anybody have any input into how this is with the service pack? I tried looking in the QW forums, but apparently if you are not a registered owner of the plane, you can't access most of the forum boards.

I did a quick flight (as in, *REAL* quick: 15 minutes) last night and think that SP1 is a great improvement over how she was before. My main complaint prior to SP1 was with the operation and smoothness of the autopilot. SP1 seems to have resolved all of the issues I was having with it. There are some other areas that now have increased functionality but I didn't get the chance to play around with those too much. Of course, QW doesn't have the level of functionality that something like the PSS 757 has, but it never claimed to either. All in all though, a great airplane and SP1 is an awesome improvement!

I'm not sure what your standards are, but on a personal level I'd be more content using the QW than the PSS.

CF - I would have to say yes at this point. It is not as accurate as the CS757 in terms of complexity and systems (nor was it intended to). I flew the newest version last night on a route I know well (MCO-ATL)..The ILS established in the AIRAC (1002) which loaded with the new version had a minor issue and I cannot seem to tune the ILS or VOR's into .5 values, only whole numbers (10, 20, etc). This may be user error but I could not figure out how to do it. The flight dynamics are fine (equal to CS and PSS). On the whole...better frame rates than CS, but less sophisticated in managed systems than both CS and PSS. With the new update, I am glad I purchased. It is fun to fly and has a great visual model. Sounds are better than PSS, not as good as CS.

I actually agree with Nicholas..I would much prefer to fly the QW now than the PSS.

Vic, where did you try to tune the ILS? Also, the current AIRAC is a "home-made" jockey and we have been promised support from Navigraph for the very next cycle.

EDIT: The Navigraph support I talk about appears to be out just minutes after typing this. Enjoy!

Nicholas, I tried to tune of the radio panel where the ILS freqs are. I did get it to work right now. I may not have been clicking the mouse properly (as I said "user error")..now my ACARS will not work, but I am curently searching for the cooler posting that addresses this...I'll fund an answer somewhere, right now its a no go

Yeah, Luke says to remove the exit.1 leading equals sign. I'm not quite sure what that means, but supposedly Luke will fix it on his end and have a hotfix real soon.

I am thinking about buying the QW 757, but when I go to the esellerate store, all I get is the drop down list to select currency. Anybody else see this issue? I haven't used esellerate before, so I am not sure if this is normal, or if QW has pulled the plane? I posted this at QW also, but haven't heard back.

**UPDATE** Heard from QW, apparently they are updating the installer, so they have the site down for maintenance.
