I used to use FSNavigator for flight planning and its awesome autopilot features! But, since it is not available, i moved to FSC...I like it so far, but can't get a couple of items to work correctly. I thought perhaps someone could tell me how to do the following:
On the autopilot box while in flight, I can fly the waypoints just fine- How do you auto fly the approaches and auto-decend to the ILS? i have added the STAR to the flightplan, but the acft does not follow any decent altitude parameters.

I often zoom into zifferent portions of the map, but FSC always puts the acft back to autocenter on itself- how do you turn this off? i couldn't find it but i'm sure its there somewhere!

Thanks all!

John first of all, the FSC is mainly for lateral navigation... not VNAV function... so it will take u from A to B thru all the waypoints u have inserted..
but u have to control the altitude and speed and stuff

another thing is u can tune ur ILS and also for those runways taht dont have ils it can show cross hair and the required descent rate to touchdown.. does not do autoland..

as for map centering on the a/c thats how it is if u have connected it to ur FS
cannot be changed,,..

I hope i am clear
anymore doubts pls feel free to ask
