Hey, guys. I am wanting to purchase some add-ons to enhance my flying experience and would like your opinion on them. I have listed them below and would like to know if they are worth spending the money on or if any of them would be redundant to have, such as one program doing the same as another. All of them promise excellent effects but would really like the opinions of the people who have used them. Thanks in advance for your input.

Real Environment Xtreme
Active Sky Advance
Ground Environment X
Ultimate Terrain X
Walk and Follow

I really like Real Environment Xtreme 2 for textures especially for clouds

I also have Ground Environment X and Ultimate Terrain X and they make terrain better but I can live without it

You did not mention Ultimate Traffic 2 but it's very good addon to extend flight experience beyond generic traffic which is boring for me

Depends on what's important to you. I have all but that 'Walk and Follow' thing.
Weather addons are a mixed blessing, yes, they make things reallyl "purdy", but
can also cause some problems with flight stability. Next thing you'll have to buy
the registered fsuipc so you can enable wind smoothing smile

Personally, I REALLY love having the ground below me look realistic, so my first
choice would be GEX/UTX, and between those two I still can't decide which
is more important. If you really have to choose just one I'd say UTX.

I've been flying in Europe more and thinking about buying UTX Europe myself
sometime soon.

Oh, and if anyone hadn't noticed, that company has a new product doing
Alaska, its beautiful looking if you like to fly up that way.

Thanks guys for all the feedback. I really like having realistic ground, also. I'll also have to look into that registered fsuipc.
