Hello all;
I'm a new guy with a disappointing issues (some of which will require an 8 year doctorate degree if you want to help). When I install the aircraft Flight Simulator 9 is unable to start. I get the following message: "Microsoft flight simulator has stopped working....." I am choosing the correct version aircraft, i.e. FS9 version of aircraft for my FS9 simulator. I have had to use System restore to get my flight simulator to work again.

This is not limited to one aircraft. I have tried to instlall at least 6 different airplanes only to have this happen. I have had to System restore after the dash 8, the saab, BAe etc. My computer is running Windows 7 32-bit. I have a 2.9GHz dual core CPU with 2GB of RAM. A drivers have been updated. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I know for the Dash 8, to keep FS from crashing to desktop, I had to load up a default FS plane first, and then without exiting the flight, load up the dash 8 from the in flight menu. Maybe this thread will help: http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x153b6

You might try that with the other aircraft as well.

Thanks Mr. Carpenter,
The issue I'm having is that Flight Simulator 2004 won't even start. It crashes right at the splash screen with the above mention error message.
