Hey guys, I decided after discovering that FS02 wouldn't allow me to adjust payloads (just fuel) to bite the bullet and shell out the big bucks for FSX. That's right.... I spent nearly 21 bucks ;-)!!!! Anyway, got it installed last night (it took FOREVER, by the way), question is, do I need to reload ACARS and my CRJ? And do I uninstall FS02 or leave it alone? And is there some stuff here t DVA I need to change to reflect FSX now? Thanks!

Going from 02 to FSX is a HUGE jump! Are you sure your computer can run FSX with decent frame rates?

Uh.... no..... Is that bad? Like going from "double dare" straight to "triple-dog dare"?

You'll need to reinstall the CRJ (and any other add-ons you want) for FSX. Just go to the fleet library like normal. You'll probably need to do the same for ACARS, although I'm not certain. You can leave 02 installed if you want; it shouldn't impact FSX. 02 to FSX is a pretty large leap, especially if you're running it on an older system. If that's the case, don't expect the same level of performance (i.e. frame rates) from FSX as you had in 02.

Can't you adjust the frame rate down to smooth things out in FSX?
