My clouds are now grey rectangles after reinstalling FSX, reinstalling the REX textures, and upgrading to ASE. This is what they look like. All the display settings are normal.

Try updating or rolling back your video drivers.

What are you using for your video card - it almost looks like the card can't prcess the objects based on the level of detail settings that you have applied.

i have the HD4850 and have had amazing clouds before this. Somebody on youtube said that they updated to SP2 for FSX and it solved the problem.
