Hi guys! I hope your not sick of me yet! Thank you for all your help! Do you guys reinstall fsx a lot? It seems I can't go a month without the need of a fresh install! I do mess with my settings a lot! Maybe I need to learn to leave it alone? What do u think? My new issue is when I look outside only in the crj 900 during rain, all I see is solid blue???? Thanks u guys for everything!!

well....what kind of computer do you have? what is its ram. what is its cpu. gpu. do you have fsx service packs. what settings exactly do you mess with (cfg or just inside the game).

I've never needed to reinstall FSX and I've had it for a couple of years.

I don't use FSX but with FS9 I sometimes mess with the settings and that is not a good thing to make a habit of. You could move or delete something that is required to run FSX and cause and error like the one you have. A good fresh install is good once and a while to recover errors. If you are going to change the settings in the FSX file you should definitely double check what you are changing. Any help you need just ask!
