the last...6 or so flights i get this on decent. all of my flights are longhauls. is this the normal memory? how can i fix this and keep flying. i am starting to get frustrated. any help......anyone?

its kind of hard to recover with the pmdg 747 also, is there any way that i can recover with the pmdg without putting everything in again? I dont know whats going wrong. this computer is not even 2 months old.

What are your PC specs?
and whats the RAM usage when FS9 is running with all of thoose apps u run in the background.

If you are doing long hauls - try minimizing the FS screen when you aren't around. With it minimized, your computer is not processing all the video...may see that fix the issue.

Uh 61 processes running ? And the reason is smile

Part of the issue is right there. As AK stated how much available memory is in the system ? I am assuming you are running a 32 bit OS as well, which the Boot.ini file will need to be modified as well as the FS9.exe file. The system is limited to 2Gb awareness, as is FS9. Ideally you should only have around 41 processes tops running in the background. I also see two instances of FS9 running. ooopsy on your part, or were you trying to restart it? 1.5 Gigs are being sucked up smile

Boot ini switch http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=24500&PID=138327#138327 it also has the link in there for the FS9.exe mod. to make it 2Gb aware. I also have a post in here somewheres on this as well. Happy tweaking.
