Hello All,

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D pro joystick. I am running F9 with FSUIPC 3.984. Not sure what I have done, but I am unable to use my virtual cockpits in any of my aircrafts. I start to look right and it starts to move and jumps back to front view and jumps back and forth. It seems that all else is working fine.

It's probably a very simple fix, but I am not keeping it simple.

Thanks

you might have to calibrate it using the program that it comes with. I have the same joystick and works great for me

check the settings in FS, and ensure that you don't have view command repetition set incorrectly.

I will look into it. Thank you both. It has worked great until just a few days ago. I have calibrated it a number of times.

Also, I forgot to mention that after loading FS9 VC seems ok, after moving the throttle lever thats when the problem seems to occur.

I would go into the settings - and return everything to their default setting (joystick setting). Set the FSUIPC settings as well to their null state (default) - if you are using a registered (purchased) copy of FSUIPC you should be able to do that.

Then start a flight - test it out. If it is the throttle movement doing it - it may be (if you didn't find it) that there is a dual assignment. Remember, you can set options for 6 different sections in the sim, and you have a joystick axis and a joystick buttons settings tab and keyboard tab as well.

I do have a registered copy of FSUIPC and thought about that. When I looked I didnt see anything syncronized, but will look again. Thanks much.

I have tried each suggestion numrous times to no avail. Ok the axis in FS9 shows (Throttle - Slider) and (Rudder - Z), In FSUIPC in the Axis Assignment Tab shows (Joystick# 0 and Z for Axis#). Obviously, there is a conflict, I just can't seem to figure it out. I even reinstalled Logitech Joystick software, with no change.

I will keep researching and trying.

I had this problem not too long ago and it was a simple little fix, I just can't remember what I did! I'll think about it and get back to you.

It seems to only effect looking left and right. Not up and down. Other than that, all else is working fine.

Don't use the logitech software. Used to have an issue with the SSA (Saitek) software. The fix for me was delete the SSA and just use FSUIPC.

Well, for now, I will just use the 2D cockpit, until I work more with FSUIPC. Or another solution presents itself.

Thanks you all.

I have tried everything suggested and am still unable to use my hat switch. I works vertically (Up and Down), but not horizontally (Left and Right). I have given up on the VC and spot plane. Thank you all for you suggestions.

Finally figured it out. It was FSinn. I had to uncheck the head movements. Finally back in the game. Thank you all.
