Hi guys,
I know is out there but for some reason I cannot find the link for the program that shuts down all the unnecessary processes and put the PC in gaming mode.
Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Vincenzo

well yes. if you turn off processes that you don't need it is pretty good. I ran a batch file I made with it when I run FS and on my old system, the improvement was significant.

Useful yes, somewhat. Performance boost,No. It only shuts down certain processes that are not absolutely neccessary to run windows.
It will save you a little memory usage. You can actually do the exact same thing manually
by bringing up the task manager(ctrl+alt+delete) and shut down processes or programs running from there.
Btw, if shutting down processes that way you need to know what you are doing!

Another thing whick can be useful is also controlling which programs that starts up and is running in the background all the time.
I like my start up file to be clean. I want to control when/what a program do.
CCleaner is a good tool for both this and other stuff. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Personally I would stay away from any such 'magic wand' program and would like a little more insight as to what exactly it is doing to my machine.

+1 on CCCleaner.
