does anyone know what would cause any payware scenery to suddenly crash fsx even after reinstalling them. they have run fine for about a year.

Have you tried disabling the scenery? Have you run a defrag (a real one)...and have you done a fresh reinstall of FSX during this year?

What could cause the crash is that FS is looking for the scenery in one location and it is in another.

i just did a reinstall of both FSX and the scenery and defragmented my C drive is there anything i missed?

I don't know - did you disable the scenery? Does it happen with any other scenery? Have you gone to the manufacturer site and check out their forums to see if there is an issue/update you need based on your OS or something else? What is the scenery?

all of my paywares do that they're from imaginesim and blueprint, i have all of thier updates. and the sceneries are enabled.
