| hi guys, i am somewhat new to this virtual airline and i am trying to get my bearings on how this exactly works. my main confusion is the flight scheduling. usually, i like to just make short hops in the 737-800 (until i get enough hours to transfer to the crj), not more than an hour to hour and half. for example, i flew from atl to memphis, but found that i could not make a return flight to atlanta. the dispatch system was a little confusing to me, so any help or advice would be appreciated. i generally like to fly to somewhere and then return to atlanta (its the airport i know best). thanks for your input!!

I believe the schedual varies acording to the time of day if you are using DVA Acars to book your flights...atleast it seems that way to me.

Go to the "Find a Flight" section of the Pilot Center. It allows you to select flights according to all the parameters you defined. You may not find many 1 to 1.5 hour flights for the 737, but you can fly an leg - regardless of the equipment. So don't limit your search to just 737 routes. You aren't locked into the exact departure times either. This really opens up a lot of routes for you.

To add onto what Scott said, When you search the flight schedule, you can fly any leg you want regardless of what aircraft is listed for the flight, as long as the range is within your a/c limitations.

Correct... you can fly any route in the DVA schedule with any aircraft at any time as long as 1) You are rated in the aircraft you're going to fly and 2) the aircraft has the range taking into consideration needed fuel reserves. In other words, don't try to fly a route in an aircraft that has a 3,300 nm range and the route distance is 3,250 nm.
