I was tweaking FSX for better framerate and knowticed that every aircraft in the DVA fleet doesn't have any surrounding textures. When I say surrounding I mean I can see the 2D cockpit but when I look either left, right, backwards or at any angle all I see is scenery no cockpit windows or back door or anything like that. This problem is only with the DVA aircraft, any other addon aircraft shows the full cockpit. I don't have DX10 enabled and pretty much all my sliders are maxed out.

Corey that's because most of the fleet aircraft don't have virtual cockpits.. Not many freeware planes do but there are a few. I need to have the VC myself.

but I'm in 2D cockpit mode not Virtual cockpit mode and am getting the missing textures, I even tried uninstalling the fleet and reinstalling. I also just found out I can't use my maddog 08 due to the massive framerate drop so I had to see what happens with DVA's aircraft and the missing sides and back on the 2D cockpit will drive me crazy.

Corey when you look to the left or right in the 2D cockpit it's the 3D cockpit that you're seeing.. If the A/C has no 3D cockpit then you won't see anything. The 3D cockpit has to be modeled into the aircraft. You can change 2D cockpits to others that you like better or whatever but the VC is either there or it isn't. Most freeware planes don't have a VC and thats where your side views come from in any aircraft. Hope this makes sense. In other words there's nothing wrong with your system or the install. The aircraft you're using just does.nt have a VC.

That makes perfectly good sense. I never knew that you were looking at the 3D cockpit when looking at the sides or back cause it is a stationary view. You explained it perfectly to me. Thank you very much.
