Has anyone struggled trying to install the acars gauges in the QW757 panels using the instructions in the acars manual. I'm not very well versed in those configuration files but I have given it a shot (saving original files) with not very much success. Anxiety mounting a little messing around in there.

Ok, disregard I just flew my QW757 to KDTW from KMSP and it was an terrific flight. I found a post somewhere which said that the acars gauge in the 2D cockpit only tells you what the status is and is not that important. Right on. Just go to the acars page and end the flight and it asks you if you want to file the pirep. Just say YUP. It's so EZ and I always try to make things harder than they really are. BTW, thank you for all the great information that you guys post in here, you make a HUGE contibution to the learning curve for newbies like me. Happy contrails everyone. wink
