Does anybody else have a problem with the CS 757 of it shaking from side to side intensively at cruising altitude.

On FSX or FS9? I have not seen this, am on FSX with Win 7 X64, and the
CS 757 gives me no problems.

This is a "known" issue (bug?) on some peoples' systems'...I think it has to do with not properly calibrating your joystick through the FSUIPC module...do some research on the Captain Sim forums...

I don't often use FSX but I have occasionally experienced this phenomenon with the CS 767 and indeed calibrating my joystick seems to have corrected it... (fingers crossed rolleyes ) But some people never get the issue solved...no matter what they do...

Best I can do... frown

Ok, I have all the blocks and the airplane is still rocking from side to side. They say is FSUIPC but apparently it is not. Can anyone help before I give up on CS.

Don't know what your problem is, anyone talking of 'blocks' means that you've had
this thing a long time, have you tried uninstalling absolutely cleanly, and then downloading
the newest version and installing that?

They don't talk about 'blocks' any more. I fly this plane fairly often and have not seen
this problem, using Win 7 64, FSX Gold.

That's another potential difference, you DO have FSX service packs installed yes, if you
don't have both SP1 and SP2 that could be reason.

PS Robert, I don't do my yoke config thru fsuipc, I have saitek yoke, quad, and pedals, and they are
just configured thru the sim.

I have all of that, now see here my friend has the same stuff as me and he doesn't have this problem at all.

I went back to v4.2 and got the (Custom Autopilot) numbers in the aircraft.cfg file (v4.2 worked fine for me). I changed the v4.3 autopilot, aircraft.cfg files to the values of v4.2. My CS757-200 now works fine with no rocking at approach speeds, and the autopilot disconnects with no hesitation. The numbers from the v4.2 file are: AP_Roll_speed=3.92; AP_Roll_window=5.5; and AP_Roll_controlstep=2850 (these will save you from having to look them up. The file cannot be changed from within FSX. You must copy the file to another location (desktop, disk, etc.), edit it, and then copy it back into FSX. My virtual airline requires that I use FSUIPC v4.508 or above. I am using FSUIPC v4.517, but I believe it will work well with any of the 4.5** versions. It worked well for me and I hope it will help those with the same problem. Don't be afraid to experiment with the numbers. Just save a copy of the original file, or if all else fails, reinstall CS757-200 to restore the file.
