Ok,

Before I get bashed at the fact that I should have searched the forums for this information, keep in mind I am surfing the net in safe mode right now and I am about at my wits end. LOL

So maybe someone get help out. I am pretty sure my video card is burnt up, not 100% sure, but for the sake of this thread, we will assume it it.

I have a dell xps 420, dual quad, 4 gigs of ram and currently a 8800gt 512MB.
The bad thing about this system is the 375 watt power supply that comes with it.

Any idea's what I could go with that would be at least as good as the 8800GT if not better. I am open to ATI or NVIDIA. I am just getting very tired of looking at all the nuimbers, because to be honest, they confuse me. The one thing that has been consistent throughout the other forums is that the 375 watts that dells provides is under rated and is actually al little higher than that. I am not a big fan of upgrading th PSU at this time.

So any thoughts.

Thanks in advance.

Looks very nice, what would be your opinion on my PSU issue, would I dare run it with what I have. I couldnt find the PSU specs for that card.
