What your guys are looking at is Gmax, which for those who don't know this is the software that most people used to create FS aircraft and other things like MultiMedia advertising etc.

But i didn't pay for it, Gmax was discontuied in 2005 and can be found on your FS installtion disks, Disk one for FS9, and i'm not sure for FSX

To find Gmax on fs9, put disk one into you drive, then go into "my computer" and you should see the FS9 thingy there, right click "open" and then find the folder namedm "Extras" and you should see it there, x2 click it and follow the instctions Don't worry it's all free.

Now i just started, and now i'm working out how to create aircraft, maybe you'll see my work in the next few months.

Good find Phillip!

I sometimes do CNC work on my SimPit and will be curious to see if it will import existing models and possibly export those same objects to a common format (such as DWG or STL).

In viewing the GMAX page on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gmax) it appears that it was included with FS9 as well!

Thanks for finding this! Should be fun to play with smile

Anyone know where it is on FSX? I'd love to make my own aircraft. Maybe a few fictional ones...

It should be in one of the Install disks, just search though the folders and you should find it.
Good luck, creating aircraft is mightly hard, i'm currently working on a P-38J from the Gmax Tutorials, be done be tomorrow night.
