I had my fps capped at 59, and was only getting 12-18 at cruise using REX, UT2, UTX, etc but then I set it to unlimited and now I am gettign 30-50 fps. It is much much smoother now.

yup this is one of those strange FSX intricacies. Doesn't work for everyone though.

Running uncapped can actually cause problems in some setup/configurations.
Rather than setting a cap that high you might try setting it to 30 and see if
that doesnt give you an overall smooth experience.

Also the issue of whether you make the cap inside FSX, or outside like in nHancer.

But, if you're good as is then maybe you should just leave it alone smile

I have it set to unlimited, but only get about 15-20 in major airports, im using a sony vaio laptop, which is not a gaming laptop

I dont mind it, i get around 40FPS in the air
