Hello

i want to ask if DVA will add the 717 to the ACARS System and the System anyway, beause Hawaiian Airlines use it (Codeshare Partner), would be a great Aircraft between the CRJ / ERJ and the MD-80/90

also i want to ask if DVA will add the codeshare Routes whith Hawaiian?

thanks, Matt

I don't think they have codeshare flights; just FF mileage credit/s.

I wish DL had a codeshare with Hawaiian. I'd spend my time island hopping. smile

It's kind of like that DL has with American Eagle out of LAX and a few other airlines. It is a capacity agreement; essentially, DL buys a block of seats off of HA or MQ and they turn around and advertise for interline purposes. Yes a codeshare technically but not in the truest form where both carriers share revenue information and profit off of the flight. So no, you won't see it in the schedule. Just like you won't see MQ flights out of LAX in the schedule.

Not quite Ian...the 717 took flight for the first time in 1998. So actually, it is one of the newer types flying around today.

Both the 738 and 900 was before the 717. O

There's also Perfect Flight.

But otherwise, there's not really a quality payware out there that fully models the 717, to include FMC.

The Jetcity is actually a freebie, but does not include a panel. They use one of the default panels in FS9

because its an reworked MD-80/90 it could be part of the MD-80 Rating, or the MD-11, because she gets the LCD screens and some technologies from the MD-11,......

If it's HJG it will be. smile FWIW I am watching the schedule import tomorrow to see if the Hawaiian flights meet the requirements for inclusion. If they do, you can probably expect them in on the 16th. I have a busy morning - off to see the Blue Angels practice. biggrin

Cheers!

I'm curious about the nature of the Delta-Hawaiian codeshare. The Hawaiian flights don't show up in the Delta timetable or flight status if you search by departure-destination, but they do show up when trying to book a flight (with a Delta flight # 68--) and if you search flight status by flight number. This seems rather odd to me, and I'm guessing is why the flights aren't in our schedule. Is this a full codesharing agreement or something less than that?

The HA codeshares could be on hold. Luke may be working on integrating the 717 into DVA, since its the only a/c HA has scheduled on these routes.
