fyi - saitek makers, mad catz, has superb support - I called them up - told them I got a the yoke as a gift at christmas 2009 - I didn't have the original box or upc, but the equipment quit 8 months after purchase. I paid to ship it back and they replaced it. They also told me, and this is NOT in the manual: If you plug ANYTHING into the USB hub on the side of the yoke, that you will burn out the yoke - unless you have the optional power plug to provide direct power to the yoke base. this is not in the manual, but it is definitely a recommendation by mad catz, not a suggestion.

Hey, does that include the round connector for the throttles (looks like a svid connector)?
I called the manufacturer originally on this same issue and got the same reply about the USB.
I never thought to ask about the throttle connector too.

That is very good to know. I did have my rudder pedals plugged into the yoke. And this is my second Saitek yoke
