The mouse sometimes doesn't not move the cursor correctly and it even turns off sometimes thus requiring a forced restart. Its an optical mouse and anyone know what the issue might be? This problem is starting to become really annoying.

If it is wireless replace the batteries .... if it is a wired mouse try a different USB port. If that doesn't work try a different mouse. These days you can pick up a laser mouse for $10

Its a laser mouse with a green circular plug at the end. I'll look into a new one soon just making sure its not on the PC end.
