Greetings,
I am having a problem with FSX connecting to the internet. Does anyone else know of such a problem and how to troubleshoot it? I think I've exhausted all options in fixing this. Thanks in advance for your help.........

Are you trying to connect to the FSX Multiplayer service via GameSpy? Or trying to fly online with VATSIM or IVAO? Or is it that the Wx won't download current information?

that's a common issue. Nothing you can do about it. Alot of times FSX/FS9 weather source (Jeppesen) has issues.

The consistent message i am getting when trying to download wx is asking me to check my internet connection and configuration. My internet connection and configuration is fine and my firewall is not blocking fsx.

Check your Internet connection
To check your connection to the Internet and to the Real-World Weather servers, follow these steps:
1. Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2. Visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://fs2k.zone.com (http://fs2k.zone.com)
3. If you can connect to the Web site and view the Web site content, the weather servers are operational.
Look for cached data
Make sure that your computer is not caching or is not keeping old data instead of downloading new data.
For more information about how to empty the cache, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
260897 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/260897/ ) How to delete the contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder
You may also want to contact your ISP to make sure that they are not providing you with a cached version of the file.
