"Whoa...Oh...Oh...Oh...Aurora...." The Andrew Sisters
I don't think these two things happen very often at DVA...a KLM 742 flight and the northern lights...during the same trip no less...
I hit the "random flight" button and look what showed up...A KLM 747-200 historic flight from CYYZ to EHAM...hmm...now that's different...
Then I happened upon this "natural light show" while "crossing the pond"...also...very different...I though I was in the Steven King made for TV movie "The Tommyknockers"...for a second...
BTW...that's the venerable Ready For Pushback version of the Queen...cost me a pretty penny back in 2002...but I still use it every time I get the chance...It's a free download at AVSIM and Flightsim.com...very immersive...just about every system is modeled...it even has a fueling panel...The model and panel are showing their age...notice the freakishly large nav/strobe lights...they were made that large because of the wing flex..but hey...it's a classic...
Hey Nicholas...you should really give this old gal a try...she ain't young...but she's very accommodating...and she will definitely keep you busy...

Yes, I've been told that they are far more spectacular but quite a bit more "subtle" (not so green) in the RW...but atleast MSFS made some attempt to represent them...
