Hello Fellow Aviators.

You all pulled together nicely on my last thread and did an OUTSTANDING job. Thanks for that.

I have another Glitch. Can the FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel for FS9 be applied to the DVA Aircraft ? IE: CRJ series. And if so ? Does anyone have the string that applies to the aircraft's Panel CFG file to make it work ?

I've been wrestling with the software and application for a few days now. I've been following the yellow brick rd and it's led me here to the land of OZ ! So Wizards.... "what say you ?"

Help !

It can be added to any panel. I've added it to my PMDG aircrafts and use ir all the time.
Put the panel .gif into the panel folder of the aircraft you want to use it in.
Then open the panel.cfg and add it to the window titles at the bottom.:

[Window Titles]
Window00=Dummy Main View
Window01=Main Panel
Window02=Zoomed Panel
....
WindowXX=FDSFX

Then add the icon into the cockpit by adding: gaugeXX=FlightDeckSFX!Icon_FlightDeckSFX,234,590,26,20(the numbers here are for PMDG 737,You'll have to play around with them to fit it where you want it in the cockpit. first number is the horizontal x axes,and second the vertical y axes, third and forth are size of the icon.)
to the bottom of [Window01]
XX is the next number in line,just as with repaints.

Then go down to the window number you added the FDSFX as.
Add the gauges as read me instructs you to.

Repeat process in VC panel folder if there is one.
And you must of course add all the gauges and effects and sound the their respective folders as instructed in read me.

Just an added note...when you get the panel installed the sounds may not work. If so, right click on each switch to set the path to the sound files you want.
