Hey Ppl,

My original computer has finally called it a day, so i managed to scavenge a socket 775 mobo with a Pci-ex slot on and have it all up and running. The grfx current card is very lame and would like some recommendations for a new grfx card. My old card was a BFG 7600 GS 512MB DDR2 apg which I'm gonna sell on ebay.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

How much are you looking at spending? The new GTX400 series are fantastic. GTX460 External Exhaust is about $239.99 -- princes go up for the 470/480.

There is also a GTS450 (Lower quality line) 1GB for about $159.99 -- would be great if budget is a concern.

£100 = $159 So if £100 is your budget, the GTS450 should be an alternative as Skylar mention.
Here's one: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1GB-Palit-GTS-450-Sonic-40nm-3900MHz-GDDR5-GPU-880MHz-Shader-1760MHz-192-Cores-2x-DVI-I-HDMI
Same brand, but GTX460 if you have £65 more to add to your budget: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1GB-Palit-GTX-460-Sonic-3600MHz-GDDR5-GPU-700MHz-Shader-1400MHz-336Cores-DVI-D-Sub-HDMI

The GTX460 is def worth it if you can get it. Personally i'd go with the GTX460 1GB <-- FS relies a bit more on vRAM

Check the reviews. The only major difference between the companies is the heatsink and over clocking utilities. I prefer EVGA, but that's just a preference.
