This could be an interesting next few weeks....Who will take it seriously? Who will nominate themselves? Who will actually nominate someone fit for the job?
Of course, I don't think most of us will know other than the senior staff, but still, I hope everyone takes this seriously, and I hope someone that deserves the honorable position gets it.

Is there a minimum age to be a senior captain? Is 14 too young? plotting

Sorry Luke...I haven't looked in the NOTAM recently. Announcements there are few and far between. The last NOTAM was in April.

Other members have created forum topics publicizing new website features and they didn't receive staff's scorn. My little ol' thread doesn't hurt anything other than maybe take up a couple kilobytes of server HDD space. I'm surprised staff went out of their way to remove my first one.

Just a tip Michael. In Pilot Center,access the "Edit my profile", then go the section "E-MAIL / INSTANT MESSAGING INFORMATION".
there you can set you preferences on mails to recieve from DVA. Tic off "Send News Notifications",
and you will in the future recieve those important News and Notams in your mailbox. wink

Thanks Tommy, I'll take a look at that.

I wasn't trying to step on anyone's toes or cause trouble. I just thought the removal of threads was primarily used for when members violate the forum rules or a thread gets out of hand. I'll refrain from these types of posts in the future.
