I am still saving up for a new gaming desktop computer but mean while I have been using my laptop which is currently at 2.1ghz dual core. Specs are 320gb , 4 gigs of ram and a chipset for a video card nuts. My friend was able to over clock his from 2.2 to 2.7 and I want to attempt mine but the only trouble is I cant find my PLL number for my motherboard. I do not want to open up the laptop to find, is there another way?

everytime i try to overclock my asus G50 to the fastest option (turbo extreme) - fsx crashes - but i don't know whether to blame that on the overclocking feature or vista 64bit...... or some other crazy thing I barely understand.

I would not overclock a laptop because you have no god way (unless you find a way to mount a monster cooling tower) of increasing your cooling capability, an important ingredient for overclocking. You'll end up damaging your laptop.
