Hey Guys,

For some reason, my Level D 767 randomly started having Stab trim problems. The Handle is moving forward all the way to the top, and keeps going around and around. My trim is uncontrollable, thus the aircraft unflyable. Is there anyway to fix this??

Is it getting mapped to something? Did you plug in a new joystick?

Check the controls and see if it's mapped. If not, I would just reset the plane by reloading it from the Aircraft menu. That usually cures any gremlins my 76 picks up.

What have you changed recently? If it worked before and doesn't anymore, chances are you made a change it didn't like.

Oddly enough, I finished a flight in it with no problems, closed the sim, went to bed, and the next day loaded up another one, and boom, it stopped working.

I had a similar problem when I tried merging with the new SkySpirit/Posky 767. A solution that I found to stop this was to edit the aircraft.cfg. I can't seem to remember where I saw what to edit but I believe it was to edit the line that has "Stab Trim Available+=16.000" and change the value to 12.2 Again I am not 100% sure on this so please back up your .cfg file before editing it.

I fixed it, the support forums said it involved a problem with the wingview version.
