Gentleman,

I am new to Delta Virtual Airlines and am very eager to begin my initial flight with the CRJ 200, however, to my great dismay, the 2d panel/cockpit (only functional cockpit view for the crj in fsx) causes the game to consistently freeze. My system is rendered completely unresponsive and I have to reboot just to get back into windows. This anomaly occurs regardless of aircraft model or whether I fly with a tracking system or offline. It has until now been merely an inconvenience, but as I've been hired into the CRJ 200 program, I will be expected to fly this aircraft and using a 2d panel. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions you may have. I have a very high end system with a windows 7/64 bit OS. The game always runs smoothly, but I'm thinking this is a graphics card issue. Thank you for reading and be safe flying.

Sorry I have no idea how to fix the issue but if you cannot fix it, you can fly any other plane listed below since you are rated for them.

Alex,

Thank you for responding. I would like to get behind the wheel (yoke) of a crj 200, as this aircraft has so many routes available. It's also one of the most frequently seen aircraft at the airport I live near, DTW (Detroit), therefore, it is all the more attractive for me to fly it specifically. Thank you for the information regarding substitutes, but I'm fairly sure most of those listed will require me to access the 2d panel for certain functions. Thanks again.

You can fly any aircraft on any route provided it has the range and yes most fleet aircraft are 2d because most freeware do not come with good VC's. Hopefully someone with FSX experience will chime in.
