hi guys after 5 months of no flight sim i decided to get back on the horse , now im getting my dad to buy me a new rig for christmass do you guys think this is a good computer for flight simulator would you recommened anything else

It looks like a good deal and computer to me. I don't know much about graphics cards, but I might get a replacement if that one isn't good enough for you. Again, I don't know how a ATI Radeon 5770 compares to other cards, but a replacement may or may not be necessary.

They're ripping you off. Big time. I built a quad-core i5 system (yours is only dual core i5) for $850 from Newegg. Complete with a GTX460, aftermarket liquid cooling, and a 22" monitor.

If you have any experience building computers, or know someone that does.. you can save $300 on that system.

thnx for the quick responses guys , steve i dont really know anyone who has any comp, bulding expirnce i have changed graphics cards here and there. i dont think 300$ would be a big rip off considering the peace of mind you have that your system work fine either way thnx for your input. also wat about this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227292

Better deal with better performance. I'd really look for a i5-750 processor if you want the most for your money, though.
