I cannot find the folder for FSX. The only way I can access the game is through the "Games" link in the Start menu. Since I cannot find the folder I cannot add any free-ware scenery or airplanes to it frown

I tried reinstalling it but still no folder. Anybody have the same issue or know of a way to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

right click on the shortcut - select properties - should give you the path

The default location should be:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X\

You aircraft are located in the SIMOBJECTS folder within.

I am aware of this, however there is no FSX folder there.

And the path is C:\Users\Miles\Desktop\ (which is not helpful)

In the properties tab, go to the Shortcut tab, not the General or Details tab. At least it works for me.

Looks like you are using either Vista or Windows 7. if you have the 64 bit version it you have to browse to the Program Files (x86) folder to find Microsoft Games
