With the new comp with Windows 7, I can't leave FSX open for long periods of time. It runs fine (45 f/s steady), but if it is left alone it just freezes. I have to end the proccess, completley reload FS with ACARS recover. In the end result it will go just fine with it minimized, but stages like decent, vectoring, and final APP I have the have it open! which often results in a freeze. This really isn't that big of a deal, but if i'm on final during a busy event, all of a sudden i'm offline, if I restart I will show back up in a minute in the same spot. That is NOT fun for ATC. I have recently updated video/sound drivers, and it was doing this before my new graphics card so that isn't it. Any suggestions?

| Hi Ryan. Try closing all other apps that your system does not depend on, use a program like Alacrity PC to do this. Then run just FSX (no weather or ATC apps like Active Sky) try a flight and see it that is okay. Then try running with FSX addons one at a time and so on and so forth and you may identify the culprit. Basically try a process of elimination.
