Ok..... I bought a HP Pavillion e9270t last year. It has a i7 processor, 8gig of memory, and a HD4650 (please don't boo me...it came with the machine) graphics card. I am running Win 7 and FSX. I have been through countless forums and I have cried until my tears are gone. I am hearing that the Anti Aliasing can be a factor, drivers not compatable with software, and I have either deleted or installed dll files or xml files till I am blue in the face. Neither SB4 nor FSINN will run on my machine as it is right now. Does anyone have a comparable machine, running the same software, that is experiencing no problems. I am ready to go out and throw more money at my problem by purchasing a new graphics card. If I do will it help any of my issues. What graphics card is the best that works with FSX that does not interfere with SB4 or FSINN. I need help here. I can't even do the P1 stuff because I can't contact a controller for the check ride. I had to drop the course. Yes I am crying..:frown:...I was a handsome man a year ago now I am bald, teeth ground down to my gums, grey eyebrows, and wrinkles in my face that make Phylis Diller look young. Besides.....I want to by a new graphis card anyway. wink

What's the error message its giving you? I highly doubt it has anything to do with a graphics card.

With SB4 it gives me "can not connect to FSX" then FSX screen turns white and then SB4 crashes and takes FSX along with it. I have run SB4 outside of FSX but when I bring up the SB4 screen it causes FSX to minimize, at which time I can never get the FSX screen to come back.

FSINN will not connect when controllers are on line. I have run all of the execuitables in FSINN as administrator.....same thing. The Vatsim web site says to only run the FSInnUI as admin and install without checking any box which I followed to the letter......worked for a while then.....same thing. I have become so paranoid that I think someone is booting me off Vatsim every time I connect. scared

Okay what i have done is when i run it outside of FS to make sure FS stays up when SB loads because if i minimize it i cant get FS back up till i close it and if i get that error I run it in FS. Make sure you are running everythign as Admin

That's my problem Mark. It won't leave FSX up if I click on SB4 to see what messages are being sent. I click SB4 and it automatically minimizes FSX. I run FSX in windowed mode by the way. In most forums they are saying that the video drivers are interfering and suggest using older drivers. But that didn't work either.
