I recently downloaded AlacrityPC and followed the tutorial which included stopping some of the services. Since then, my downloads have been really really slow. (1-2 kb/sec!!!) I was thinking that this might be a problem with one of the services which I stopped, so I was wondering if anybody knew which service that might be.

I believe that AlacrityPC only shuts down services while you have flight sim running. When you quit your flight sim, AlacrityPC re-enables your services. Are you having trouble downloading while flying? Keep in mind that flight simulator uses a lot of your CPU to fly which doesn't leave much to control and accept a download.

No, its not while I'm flying. But I followed an AlacrityPC tutorial that walked me through disabling unneeded processes before setting up alacritypc. So I think I disabled a process that is related to download speed. So I guess to make it clearer, my download speeds are slow while not flying and while not running alacrity.

I try to never mess with my system setup or services. That's why I liked the way AlacrityPC disabled unneeded services before flight and re-enabling them after closing Flight Simulator. I am unfamiliar with the tutorial. Perhaps you could re-enable those unneeded processes and see if that fixes anything. Also, is there a restore point that is before you used this tutorial? You could roll back your system to that restore point and get back your download speed.
