Folks, I'm thinking of retired my old Samsung SincMaster (actually giving it to my son) and am looking for a decent monitor under $200. LCD or LED doesn't matter, I guess. My Samsung has served me well, but heats this room up in the summer, geez. Anybody got any suggestions that will run well with FS9 or FSX?

David,

I would check newegg.com they have a large selection for under $200.00. Look for a monitor with highest contrast ratio and fast response time.

hm, not sure Acer is that great of a brand is it? I see they have an Asus for the same price, though beyond motherboards, not sure how good they are either.

+1 as a former TV repairman/technician. I made a ton of cash fixing acer monitors that were still under warranty for bad backlights or bad panels themselves. With that knowledge i gained, you couldnt give me an acer or the money to buy one. Sure they are cheap, but if you live in the boston area, let me give you my card, I could use some more warranty work. smile
