Can someone tell me why i get this message

"microsoft flight simulator is not ready to fly, please start microsft flight simulator and load you aircraft>

Firstly fsx is running, i have run the registry fixer and all seems good. Ive been using acars for a long time and this has just started to occur... Thoughts. Peter

I tried this and have no luck. I reinstalled fsuipc. i reinstalled acars.I was able to use acars forever and now it just wont connect to my fsx install?

I read the thread above and tried the recommendation stated in the link

Nothing works. acars wont connect to the sim.. Thoughts

Ok , I got acars working again, so for others chasing this issue this is what i did;

1 Uninstalled acars ( latest) - I had installed it on Feb 1 11
2 Uninstalled fsuipc
3 reinstalled both above

The above did not work for me so I simply restored my computer back to the previous version prior to Feb 1 and everything works perfectly.

My solution most likely was to simply stick with the earlier version. ( note I am running w7-64x ) I am still not sure what happened but maybe this post might save a few of you some time if you are chasing this issue.

I don't see sticking with Build 97 as a viable long-term solution. I'd try upgrading ACARS again, but without upgrading FSUIPC.
