Hi, on several occassions now i have had to abort my recent flights because i minimised fsx and it wont come back up. All i get is a black screen, while the sounds atc and everything else keeps running. I run fsx on full screen with AA, because window mode reduces my fps. Graphics card is an ATI Radeon 4350. Thanks.

At your own risk add in your FSX. cfg under [GRAPHICS]ForceFullScreenVSync=1 ForceWindowedVSync=1
If for any reason you need to exit the sim bring it to window mode first (alt+enter)and then you exit.
I used to have your same problem and now I can switch from full to window zillion times with no problem biggrin

I resume this post to ask the same thing. I receive the same issue (black screen or corrupted textures) especially using payware addon aircraft like CS or Wilco...
my graphic card is an ATI Radeon 6970.

Man, I tried lots of solutions to fix that problem but no luck. Too many bugs in fsx, i just reverted to fs9.
