I have loaded up most of the aircraft from the Fleet Library and started learning some of those that I am not yet rated. When I start up FSX using either a 757 or 767, it starts up just fine until I attempt to pull up the control panel (Shift + 1), then the system crashes. I deleted both aircraft and reloaded them with the same results. All other aircraft seem to work just fine.

I tried to see if there was a similar post and didn't see one. Any help would be appreciated.

System:
FSX
Windows 7 Professional
Dell Latitude E5510
Intel i5 CPU M450 @ 2.40GHz
RAM 4.00GB (3.43 GB usable)

Don it sound like something that isnt "jiving" in the panel with your system... have you tried any 3rd party free panels on those respective a/c? and if you have, is it the same results?

I have not, I was just downloading the DVA fleet aircraft. Any suggestions to some I could try out?

As I said before, I have most of the other DVA aircraft and have had no issues, including the CRJ's, 737's, 777's, MD88/MD90, A320, A330, etc. I'm looking to get my ratings in the higher rated aircraft and that's what got me to start downloading the other aircrafts above the 737/A320 level.

Using a freeware panel for a 767 I found on a random search it worked--kind of. I still get a fatal error message when exiting off of either the 757 or 767 aircraft, but I was able to fly both aircraft. Again, this only occurs with the DVA 757 and 767 aircraft. All others work fine.

OK, I have found one (a freeware 757/767 panel) that is definately better than the other and thought I'd share in the event others have the same or similar issues. Here is a link to a zip file:

http://www.isdt-israel.com/files/panels/ISDT_757panel1.0.zip

Be careful upon downloading, by default it wanted to place the new panel inside my 747 aircraft instead of the 757 and/or 767 aircraft. You will have to force it to overwrite the panels for the 757 and/or 767 aircraft.
Here's how I did it:

Hit the "browse" button at the right (the button with the three dots)

Search for the file location within the FSX directory:

Place the new file in the "panel" file to overwrite the old file and click "OK":

This is what the new panel looks like and with no fatal errors:

Hope this helps,
Don
