I am having problems with ACARS. Everything has loaded but it says Microsoft FLight Simulator is not ready to fly. Please start Microsoft Flight Simulator and load your aircraft. I am at the gate and have my parking brake on but it still is not working.

Does FSUIPC appear in your FSX Add-Ons menu? If no, please download FSUIPC4 from here: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Cheers!

Luke,
After further investigation I don't have an add-on menu. I tried re-installing FSUIPC but it says later version of FSUIPC is already there. What should I do?

The installer should create a log. Can you post it?

Cheers!

That looks fine. FSUIPC4 appears to have installed correctly. Can you start FSX? You should have an Add-Ons menu on the top menu bar.

Cheers!

Is there an FSUIPC.LOG file in the same directory as the install log? That'll tell you what's going on when you start FSX.

I fixed it. I had been having problems with my OS and had to re-install FSX on my new OS. I just had to copy some old files and was able to fix it. Although now its very slow and freezes every couple of seconds. How can I fix this?
