I was hoping someone might have an idea about a small problem my PC is having. When I turn on the power to my machine, the monitors wont turn on or come out of sleep mode. I hold the power button until the pc turns off, then when I press it again to start, the video card seems to start running and the pc loads normally. I am lost.

EVGA GTX 570
Corsair HX 750w
Asus P6X58D Premium LGA 1366 Intel X58

Thanks for any ideas.

It also sometimes happens to me. I just set my computer to hibernate everytime instead of sending it sleeping.

Do you have the video card set to go into sleep mode. If so be f hitting the spacebar should return it to normal state

I have not seen anything in the nvidia control panel about card going into sleep mode. I have not had my computer go into sleep mode or hibernate. I pretty much have powered the computer on and off. Its weird, and a little annoying. Is there something in the bios I may have overlooked, or some other setting?

May want to check on the monitor settings. The ones in the monitor itself. Usually if the monitor is not getting a signal or if it is, it will say so.
