As anyone else having issues when logging onto VATSIM frame rates drop to nothing?

All things being egual when I log onto VATSIM my FRs drop to 1-3, off-line 35 ( where I have it locked ).

Any Ideas?

I had a major FPS drop when using FSINN, which didnt happen with SB4, of course others have reported opposite results.

That's definitely abnormal. Squawkbox or FSINN?

I personally haven't noticed anything and I was fooling around last night on VATSIM in NYC that was just about fully staffed.

FSInn kills my FPS on FSX. And unfortunately, one of the best features of FSInn, selecting what airline/model others show up as, is absent from FSX. So, I pretty much just use FSX offline (again, unfortunately).

After doing some trial and error work I concluded that my anti-virus software was causing it. I always turned gamer mode on after I started FSINN. I started turning on the gamer mode before I started FSINN, and the problem went away. I have now started doing it before starting FS and the problem has completly gone away.

I can get 100 frames offline, but on Vatsim with FSINN, it drops as low as 20 in some cases. I always keep it locked at 35, which my PC should be able to handle just fine. But its only on the ground at some airports, others I get good frames. I use no Anti Virus on my system as it is built strictly for FS. Good to know Im not the only one suffering from Vatsim frame loss!
