I am a Captain on the MD-88 and was wondering if I could get the 717 additional rating? Also I am rated on the 737-800 but cannot fly the 737-700 was wondering if I could also add that one too??

Hi Nathan, best to make a help desk issue for these issues as they will be assigned to the correct person and won't "fall through the cracks" which may happen here in the cooler.

Pilots Lounge -> help desk -> first paragraph says "ask another question" click on that.

You don't need to make a help desk issue. Go to your pilot center, and scroll down to the pilot testing and promotion section. Underneath "Switch Equipment Programs" you should see a link that says "Request Additional Ratings." Just click that, and Your current program (MD-88) should be listed. Select it and then click the button that says "Submit Additional Ratings Request." Once approved, you should get all additional ratings for all programs that you are rated in.

If you go down to the Pilot Testing and Promotion section in the Pilot Center, you will also see this section: Review Promotion Eligibility. If you go in there, you'll see what your status is with all programs.

Oh well requested additional ratings in the 737-800 and they sent me a checkride to switch. Dont really want to switch but to fly the 737-700 guess I will have to.
