Hello all,

I have had the PMDG 747-400X for a while, and it has been working fine. But I just recently reinstalled windows, and I went to reinstall my 747 just now, and it seems to be working fine except for the flaps. They don't come down right as in the picture. It looks like some of the hydraulics on the wings are coming down, but they are not attached to the flaps. VERY weird. The EICAS says they are working fine, but even more strangely when they are in full down position like that the airspeed indicator shows the max operating speed for that flap setting chosen, but it does not feel like there are any flap effects in there, so it becomes very difficult to remain in slow flight. Any help is appreciated,

Connor

Hmm, looks like the flap canoes have become just regular flying canoes. Sorry no help.

Make sure you check the advanced animations check box--I believe it is in the display options.

Yes-Options-->Settings-->Display. First Tab under global options--check the Advanced Animations box. I forgot it once on a PMDG Queen reinstall and was wondering why my flaps and ailerons were all screwed up. I had forgotten to make sure there was a check there.
