When I fly from Salt Lake City, runway 32, my ACARS pirep always reports that I am several hundred feet past the end of the runway before I take off. However, I have always taken off well before the end. The only added scenery I use is for Atlanta. All other airports are default scenery, but SLC is the only airport I've had this error. I can't figure out if it's a glitch in ACARS or the runway coordinates are off in FS. Has anyone else had the same issues?

Probably the difference between FS and Google maps .... I wouldn't sweat it.

Well, this one is because you took off from RWY 34R, not 32: http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x96dad the reviewer should have caught that and corrected it. Same with this one: http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x96d2d

Same thing happens with me. Ill take off of 34R but sometimes it says 32 and I over ran the runway. No big deal though, I don't think it affects the PIREP status.

No, it doesn't, I usually correct it though. Normally I just scan to see if there are any anomalies with the flight. If I see that it says past the end of the runway, I zoom in to see what's up. that's usually when you find a different takeoff runway. The flight track doesn't lie biggrin

Looking at both of these the problem may also be with where your starting your taxi. Looks like your starting from the General Aviation side of the field (East Side) I'm not sure how ACARS detects runways but I imagine taxing just behind rwy 32 on the way to 34R is causing it to make that the takeoff rwy. I would try starting from the airline gates or the cargo areas. Both of these are between the 34s 16s. Might solve the problem.
