Specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115070
Motherboard:MSI P67A-GD55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130573&cm_re=LGA_1155-_-13-130-573-_-Product
Graphics: What do you suggest? The only intensive thing that's going to happen on this computer is simming.
HDs: I'm well aware of the awesome speed increases with SSD. I've heard that you can install the OS onto a SSD and use an old 7200rpm for everything else?
Case: Don't even know how to choose? The options are infinite it seems.
Power Supply:
I'm going to be using FSX with things such as the CS 757 and PMDG MD-11. I think I'm okay on fps from the processor department. Maybe I'm off?
There are some very knowledgable computer gurus here and I would love your advice! Planning on building end of May if I can figure everything out.

560ti for the card. I have the OS on the SSD, and it is certainly nice.

That processor will be more than plenty to run FS. If the only thing you will be doing is simming, then the 560ti will be great. As for the SSD, if it's in your budget, i say go for it. It will really speed up the OS if you decide to go with one. Just make sure to get something 60gb or more (OCZ and Corsair make good SSD's.) As for the case, just make sure it has good air flow (at LEAST one fan for intake, and one for exhaust.) Antec, Coolermaster, NZXT and Corsair are just a few good companies. As for the Power supply, the HX 750 from Corsair is one of the best out there, so i would go with that.

I think you're good to go with that setup--just remember, as Joseph said, cooling is very important. Also make sure that you've got more than enough power supply to run everything, and make sure the power supply is a reputable brand. I once fought with strange random lockups and glitches for months on my previous computer before I simply replaced the power supply, and they all went away.

Re: Cooling - I'm super impressed with the fan I'm using (described in this thread: http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0x1801b ). It's a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and keeps temps with the i7-2600k at very reasonable temps -- tops out in the low 50°'s C with FSX or FS9 running full out.

About VGA, If you choose good cooler you can easily overclock your CPU to 4.8Ghz or higher. With this speed your CPU can feeds your VGA nice. So Nvidia 580GTX or 570 is good choice.

I'm going to take your advice on the cooler, Trevor. Looks great to me!
As for the GPU, still up in the air. The only game/simulation I play is FSX/FS2004. I don't want to go too overboard, but I want things looking good.
