I have spent the last 3 days working an issue and finally narrowed down a fault to see if anyone else has the solution before I have to spend more time to fix. I discovered that if I save a flight and then reload or the ACARS tries to recover a flight that the Fleet 757 has been flying in it will CTD. I know this because I have done too many test with it and other non fleet aircraft to confirm it.
My system is a new system. I am running FSX on a WIN7 OS. I have it tweaked and soley designed to run Flight Sim. Before having to abandon the fleet 757 I would like to see if I can make it work. So,, has anyone ran into this problem and was able to fix it?
Note- I have tried this also on another computer and get the same results.

Problem Solved - After many different setups with the fleet 757-200 I had determined that it was the aircraft file to blame. No matter what I did I could not get ACARS to recover the flight much less get FSX to load a saved flight using the the fleet 757 file. I finally decided on a POTSKY 757-200 version. With some tweaks and modifications to the acft.cfg and panle file to make sure it was as close to the fleet file it works like a champ. It loads and recovers with no issues. I even during my investigation phase purchased and downloaded FSUPIC. Great program by the way, but it too could not reload a saved flight with the fleet 757 acft file.

Additionally, I have added the ISG FMS system into my aircraft. Works great! Still a work in progress but have flown two logged flights and no major issues. smile
