I am having trouble completing my checkride as the speedbrakes on the 757-200 will not function properly.

The problem is that regardless of what you do to set them the SB lever will just return to the down position. Has anyone had this problem and know how to correct it?

I am running FSX on WIN7-64 and the DVA 757-200.

Do you have the speed brake mapped to a key or joystick axis? Are you running the payware version of FSUIPC? What joystick are you using? Have you tried this multiple times?

I have already tried removing all the mapping on the stick, keyboard, and mouse to no avail. I am runnung a registered version of FSUIPC. I do not have this issue with any other aircraft and I am using CH Pro throttle, pedals, and flight sim yoke. I also run the Belkin N52 game controller. I have the same issue on FS9 using this aircraft.

I am not sure that would help as it happens on both FS9 and FSX. I did try reinstalling the fleet 757 several times to no avail. Last night I also tried without using WideFS but that did not help either. Since I am only getting a rating on the 757 to move to stage 4 I will just start my descent at a lower speed and angle so that I can stay within the 250 below 10,000 limit. I really like flying the 747-400, CRJ, and 737 so once I get a rating on the 747 I'll be OK.

Just a simple question does your Forward slash key work? I have a slider on my oystic that I use for my spoilers so I can control the travel limit but in a pinch if I am just want to let the air out of it I use my slash key. I started in the 757 when I joined DVA, and made my Captain, I am now getting my 737 rating before moving to stage 4 for the MD11, the one thing that kind of surprised me is to the 737 is like a greased pig sliding down water ride to slow down. Also did you check your ingame mapping to see is something has changed?
